PM2 will provide leadership and project management for highly technical, mission critical, and sensitive construction project types. Each PM will be dedicated to support one of two geographically separated campus locations, which include the Marine Science Institute at Port Aransas and the McDonald Observatory at Fort Davis. PMs will be dedicated to their respective sites and should expect to travel to these sites 5-6 times per year. Relocation incentive may be available. PurposeProvide professional project management of design and construction projects for university facilities. Projects may include new construction, fit-out of shell spaces, renovation of existing spaces, and maintenance of existing building and campus infrastructure, up to 10 million dollars per projects. This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).
