Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid Remote, 2d/w)
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire
A global company in the finance industry is currently seeking a Japanese bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR will provide exceptional customer service to business clients, assisting managers with a variety of tasks such as researching, client correspondence, paperwork, problem-solving, proposal preparation, and obtaining quotes from vendors.
The ideal candidate will have business-level proficiency in Japanese, along with excellent customer service and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage the intake, issuance, and distribution of required documentation for client accounts.
Process various requests for account changes, including but not limited to adjustments, invoicing, and document preparation.
Collaborate with team members across different roles to support client audits, applications, and other account management tasks.
Assist in preparing client renewals and proposals in partnership with the client support team.
Support the preparation of new account setups, letters of intent, and competitive bids under the guidance of senior team members.
Contribute to billing and financial tracking associated with account transactions, as directed.
Maintain accurate records of all activities in internal management systems.
Participate in seminars and educational opportunities to further develop relevant skills and knowledge.
Ensure high-quality work is delivered with professionalism and attention to detail.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Japanese/English Bilingual - Business-level proficiency required
Excellent customer service skills - experience in B2B customer service preferred
Strong proficiency in MS Office
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Willingness to obtain Property and Casualty Insurance License with company support

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
