Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Planner to support a key airframe client on-site in San Antonio, TX. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 1-2 years of aircraft maintenance planning experience who are looking to expand their skills in TRAX planning software and maintenance scheduling operations.
In this role, you will assist in developing and maintaining aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules, support the creation of line and base maintenance work packages, and help ensure aircraft parts and materials are scheduled correctly. You will also play a key role in coordinating recovery plans for operational disruptions and supporting communication between maintenance teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in developing and maintaining aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules.
*Support the creation and distribution of line and base maintenance work packages.
*Validate that aircraft parts and materials are scheduled and routed correctly per plan.
*Assist in tracking and reconciling maintenance plans to accommodate operational events.
*Provide status updates and support communication with maintenance teams and leadership.
*Gain experience in interpreting maintenance programs and regulatory requirements.
*Support operational recovery plans for scheduled maintenance-related disruptions.
Core Qualifications:
*1 or more years of aircraft maintenance planning experience in a commercial or military aviation environment.
*Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance scheduling and planning functions.
*Familiarity with TRAX planning software or a willingness to learn.
*Strong organizational and time management skills.
*Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
*Due to the nature of the work US citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Associate"s or Bachelor"s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
*Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
*Previous experience in a Maintenance Planning or Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) environment.
*Knowledge of FAA maintenance regulations and compliance requirements.
*Experience working with airline or MRO operations.
*Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
