HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Manager of Planning and Agile Practices. The manager is responsible for overseeing HealthPartners' planning and agile practices within the Digital, Consumer, and Sales Systems division, including the leadership and management of a team of scrum masters. The Digital Product Management team is responsible for defining our digital product vision, strategy, goals, and roadmaps; effectively partnering with key stakeholders across business and technology to translate requirements into high quality digital products; leading and participating in cross functional teams to shape and deliver on digital solutions as well as to drive continuous improvement. This position partners with leadership to deliver on our digital strategy and goals and manage the daily operations of our cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, technology or web related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product development
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role coaching and mentoring team members
- Experience setting a vision, building, and leading a high performing team.
- Experience creating and managing budgets.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively across product team members - preferably in an agile environment using scrum methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environment with multiple priorities and occasional demands for off-hours work.
- Excellent writing, verbal communications, presentation and listening skills.
- Demonstrated skills: knowledge of development cycle processes, strong consultative skills, planning and prioritization, capable problem solver, and ability to build consensus.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as a scrum master in an agile environment.
- Experience working in the healthcare payer (insurance) or provider (clinics and hospitals) industry.
- Experience with web analytics
- Experience working with JIRA.
- Basic working knowledge/background in HTML, JavaScript, Java
Hours/Location:
- M-F; Days
- May work in a hybrid capacity but will need to be onsite for meetings and workgroup sessions as required.
Responsibilities: The Manager, Digital Product Management is a results-driven leader who is able to partner effectively with both business and technical teams to ensure seamless, timely and effective delivery of digital solutions.
- Responsible for supervision of staff, including having the authority to hire, transfer, lay off, promote, discipline and discharge, train, reward, and review performance of employees. Ensures compliance to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Drives and optimizes our agile best practices. Grows and promotes best practices throughout our digital team as well as the broader organization. Creates and evolves the agile center of excellence for the digital team, including communities of practice.
- Leads a team of scrum masters, who are part of cross-functional product teams within a product portfolio. These teams are responsible for ensuring our digital products are providing value by defining digital product strategy and roadmaps that align with our organization's goals and objectives, providing optimal documentation and requirements and ensuring our development teams execute the work to deliver on these goals.
- Drives the strategy and planning for large initiatives with shared accountability for success. Defines portfolio vision, strategy and goals based on collaboration with a broad spectrum of leaders and executives, industry research and trends, competitive analysis, and user insights.
- Collaborates closely with senior leaders to manage large initiatives and change across the organization. Effectively communicates and presents recommendations to a broad range of audiences including leadership, internal and external business partners, and technical teams.
- Drives optimization of process, standards and guidelines impacting the team and its role within the organization. Ensures team consistently follows them.
- Assigns and manages team resources to accomplish strategic priorities on time, and on budget.
- Ensures team performance meets and exceeds expectations through coaching, performance measurement, goal setting, and evaluation of results. Manages recruitment, selection, training, and development of team members.
- Acts as a liaison, develop and maintain strong relationships between technical, creative, marketing and business partners and teams to ensure the result meets or exceeds expectations.
- Develops and maintains high morale within the team and establish a strong overall team connection to organizational goals and priorities.
- Sets priorities for the product portfolio and support the team in their work, develop their skills and strengths. Maintains our culture of learning, results, caring and purpose.
- Works independently under general prioritization and guidance of the Senior Director, Digital Product Management.
- Participates in business continuity planning.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
