Description
SUMMARY: The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the entire life cycle of various Community Relations programs, events, and activations including planning, development and implementation. The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams, and able to coordinate programs according to the organization's standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and execution of community outreach programs that support and promote the Patriots Foundation Pillars, including but not limited to Education, Female Empowerment, Healthcare, Homelessness/Hunger, Military, Volunteerism, and Youth Football
- Assist with the planning and execution of events supporting NFL programs such as PLAY 60, Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, and Inspire Change
- Support, plan and execute grant giving programs, including but not limited to Myra Kraft Community MVP Awards and Patriots Difference Maker of the Week
- Write reports to ownership, NFL awards, NFL grants, annual Community report, weekly and monthly newsletters, website updates and additional communication and reviews as required
- Support the preparation and execution of the Patriots Foundation fundraising initiatives including annual Patriots Premiere, Fantasy Camp, raffles, Mystery boxes, and auctions.
- Coordinate efforts for Patriots Training Camp, including assisting with the Patriots Foundation tent, interacting with fans to share information about the Patriots Foundation, handing out giveaways, and promoting upcoming programs.
- Support Community Relations game day programs, including pregame and halftime programming, and Row of Honor
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Event planning experience preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Strong customer service skills
- Good organizational skills, detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact successfully with groups from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to assist with multiple projects simultaneously including the ability to manage projects from start to finish
- Team player
- Confidentiality and discretion
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work nights and weekend days as needed
