Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Planner to support a key airframe client on-site in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules, ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements and regulatory standards while optimizing operational efficiency.
The selected candidate will oversee the creation and issuance of line and base maintenance work packages, validate aircraft part and material availability, and coordinate operational recovery plans for maintenance-related disruptions. This role requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance planning, proficiency in TRAX planning software (preferred), and the ability to interpret and manage complex maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules, ensuring timely execution of maintenance activities.
*Create, issue, and track line and base maintenance work packages to support aircraft operations.
*Monitor and reconcile maintenance plans to accommodate operational events, delays, and unexpected changes.
*Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to provide status updates and ensure alignment with operational goals.
*Oversee progress of maintenance activities and provide detailed reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
*Communicate effectively with maintenance teams, operations personnel, and senior leadership to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications:
*Aircraft maintenance planning experience in a commercial or military aviation environment.
*Strong ability to interpret and manage maintenance plans and schedules to meet operational demands.
*Proficiency in TRAX Planning Software or similar maintenance planning tools.
*Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance requirements, materials planning, and regulatory compliance.
*Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to provide status reports to leadership.
*Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Bachelor"s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
*Previous experience in Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) or a Maintenance Planning role.
*Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
*Strong knowledge of FAA maintenance regulations and industry best practices.
*Experience working in airline or MRO operations with large-scale maintenance planning.
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
