Role: Oracle Finance Functional Consultant - General Ledger Expertise Chicago, IL Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL) to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in assessment, implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, specifically within the General Ledger module. You will work closely with business users to understand their requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver effective solutions. Responsibilities: * Lead and participate in Oracle Financials assessment, implementations and upgrades, focusing on the General Ledger module. * Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional designs and specifications. * Configure and customize Oracle GL modules to meet business needs. * Develop and deliver training to end-users on Oracle GL functionality. * Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle GL issues. * Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). * Create and maintain functional documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and configuration guides. * Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Financials and other systems. * Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Financials releases and best practices. * Proactively identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements. * Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. * Work closely with business users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. Minimum Qualifications
