Duration: Fulltime with Cognizant

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Delivery Manager for our engineering department.

* This role involves overseeing the development and migration projects.

* Managing engineering projects and ensuring the reliability and performance of all internal systems.

* Person responsible for running all the engineering activities and assignments within the organisation. Responsibilities of a delivery manager includes project management, analysing engineering

* capability, planning & approve the engineering team execution and hiring team members, preparing and presenting budgets and plans, influencing the development of a product line roadmap and strategy, finding and implementing ways to improve cost-efficiency and communicating with management and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence across multiple regions.

* Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.

* Work with senior level stakeholders in the business to identify and define the next opportunities, strategy driven by technology

* Team Management: Hire, train, and mentor engineers, promoting professional growth and development.

* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including IT, security, and product development, to align engineering efforts with company goals. Partnership with digital platform teams and business stakeholders on both application and infrastructure related development coverage and strategies

* Budget Management: Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

* Technical Oversight: Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and performance.

* Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

* Planning & Design: Design strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resources

* Innovation: Implement innovative idea and converts to technologies

* Policy: Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment

* Risk Assessment: Produce and own the final risk assessment scorecard with clear recommendations for the CTO and senior executive staff.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Minimum of 20+ years of experience in engineering on IT industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

* Skills: Strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, AWS, or ITIL are a plus.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.

* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, AWS, or ITIL are a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The yearly pay for this position is between $140,000 - $162,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
