About this role:

The Sr. Director, Product role within the Sales Data, Reporting and Analytics team will be responsible for developing and executing the future vision and roadmap of Gartner's business priority for capturing and communicating value delivered to our existing clients and enabling sales to convert prospects to clients through new and innovative technological solutions.

This role requires an understanding of the lifecycle of a tech focused product roadmap, leveraging data and emerging capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation to simplify our sales processes and enhance the seller experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into innovative tech, by building a compelling product vision, and driving that implementation with IT.

What you'll do:

  • Take full ownership of the future roadmap, planning, development, and execution of products such as the Prospect Preparation and Conversion Tool and Impact Assessments.
  • Manage maintenance and enhancements of the current product platforms, while planning for and executing the future vision of these products.
  • Partner with Team NCVI to understand the processes, data, systems supporting Sales, Services, R&A etc. interactions with clients/ prospects. Promote ways in which product development work can be prioritized to provide the greatest impact to customers, alignment with the strategy and positive financial results.
  • Lead opportunities to evolve technology, tools and content, leveraging deep customer insights, to simplify the user experience, improve collaboration and deliver high-quality products for our clients/prospects throughout their RLC.
  • Demonstrate understanding of innovative tools and technology products in the market (vendor tools, CPG, interactive pptx., etc.) and content synthesis (storytelling w/AI) that will drive the form of the products and their ability to solve complex use cases.
  • Establish strong partnerships with business unit leaders (especially in our sales, service and research BUs), IT, and vendors for requirements and implementation exercises.
  • Lead the coordination across stakeholders to ensure the adoption and implementation of the specific products, in addition to standardized processes that will drive consistent best practices across our entire sales organization with technology enabling the adoption.
  • Effectively communicate and garner buy-in from senior leadership on plans and progress for core projects as well as be a trusted and influential voice in delivering strategic solutions that drive senior leadership decision making.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert and representative for all owned products across the enterprise
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the product's effectiveness and efficiency.

What you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience with mix across business operations, technology or analytics; ideally 2+ years of consulting experience
  • Minimum of 6-8 years supporting business processes related to Marketing and Sales, ideally on an industry-leading platform (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle/Eloqua, etc.) and related technology
  • Team leadership experience preferred, ideally managing teams of software product-service owners
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize the most critical activities, ensuring that high-impact tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with and influence all team NCVI partners leading efforts to drive partnerships, resolve problems, clarify and interpret complex information, and drive consensus.
  • Knowledge of Sales processes, Customer 360, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and CRM Analytics is preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 134,000 USD - 185,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
