Overview SRI is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician in the Microcircuit Emulation Center (formerly Sarnoff Corporation) to install, and maintain semiconductor equipment. This role supports the manufacturing of microcircuits (integrated circuits) on-site in Princeton, NJ during the second shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm). Through SRI's Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) and Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME) programs, the Microcircuit Emulation Center supplies form, fit, function, and interface replacements for obsolete microcircuits. This capability supports production, redesign, and sustainment requirements for the life of a weapon system. SRI's Microcircuit Emulation Center is a government-supported, U.S.-based Trusted foundry. Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, manufacturing support, and regular preventative and/or corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment including electrical, mechanical or software installation, comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, and repairs to non-functioning equipment.
Qualifications
The salary range is: Level 2 $25.72-$34.10; Level 3 $29.10-$39.00. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
