According to customer and internal specifications, ensures that customer requirements are implemented and verified during the design and manufacture of circuit board products. Ensures that Quality issues are addressed with the customer and provides technical interchange service between the customer and TTM Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing entities to ensure customer satisfaction and supplier accountability to specification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
  • Ability to interpret and proof technical data and requirements, and author and approve the implementation into the proper procedure and other communication vehicles, i.e. travelers, quality data sheets, dimensional reports, operator instructions, etc.
  • Ability to use personal experience, education, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals including providing data to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Ability to focuses on product quality, yield and improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to interact with customers regarding process improvement and failure analysis.
  • Ability to support manufacturing by process quality definition and implementation.
  • Ability to specify materials, tools, equipment (when possible), and process parameters.
  • Ability to assist in training of manufacturing personnel with respect to quality verification and implementation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for process improvement.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years experience and/or training in the printed circuit board (PCB) industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates that have aBachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
To perform this job successfully, a certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, or enrollment in statistical training is helpful. Certification/training in GD&T and other quality tools i.e. PFMEA, DOE, DPPM, 5 Whys, RCCA, Fishbone, Kaizan, TQM, 8D SCAR, and other Quality principles are a plus.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
