The Department of Humanities and Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott campus, invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty Instructor to teach 200-levelTechnical Writing courses starting in August 2025.

The instructor is responsible for working with the course monitor to develop the syllabus; teaching writing, revising, and editing processes; and grading student documents and other assignments.The instructor is also responsible for maintaining the Canvas electronic course site.

Qualifications

* Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Writing Studies, Rhetoric and Composition, Technical and Professional Writing, or related field at the time of the appointment.

* Evidence of successful teaching.

* The ability to use classroom technology effectively in teaching and learning.
