Administrative Manager Pharmacy - Management Group Full Time 83998BR Job Summary The Administrative Manager of Pharmaceutical Services reports directly to the Chief Pharmacy Executive, supports and serves as an advisor to the Chief Pharmacy Executive and Chief Pharmacy Officer. The Administrative Manager of Pharmaceutical Services is responsible for planning and directing all administrative and operational matters of the department. In collaboration with the Pharmacy Leadership Team (Assistant Chief Pharmacy Officers and Directors), the Administrative Manager will support establishing long-range strategic directions and developing administrative policies. The manager is also responsible for building and maintaining an effective administrative structure, overseeing daily operational activities and supervising administrative staff. The Administrative Manager is responsible for leading, developing, planning, managing, executing and communicating of strategic priorities with cross-functional teams. Works closely with Pharmacy Leadership Team to provide guidance on human resources and learning and training. Manages systems and procedures to protect departmental assets. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $143,900 - $215,800 (Annual Rate). These services include, but are not limited to, drug procurement, storage, and security; safe accurate and timely preparation and distribution of drugs; clinical pharmacy services for patients; development of drug use policies within the Medical Center; drug information services for clinicians and patients; and participation in technology assessment and quality assurance programs. The Department collaborates with the UCSF Department of Clinical Pharmacy, an academic unit within the School of Pharmacy, which has primary responsibility for teaching professional courses in the Pharm.D. curriculum, research, and public service.
