Description Position Summary & Responsibilities: At bioMerieux, IS Change Managers are responsible for overseeing Information Systems projects and support employees adapting to new processes or new technology. The Change Manager supports the Project Manager specifically and the entire project team overall. This involves communicating and collaborating with stakeholders from both the IS and business departments who are engaged in the IS project. The Change Manager excels at building and maintaining strong relationships at all organizational levels because they represent IS towards the business. They develop and implement change management strategies and plans to ensure smooth transitions, maximizing adoption and minimizing resistance. These plans include risk management, assessment of the current organizational state, identifying training needs and focus on conflict resolutions.
- Assess the change impacts and related risks:
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness (including project vision readiness), and identify key stakeholders.
- Identify, analyze and prepare change management risk mitigation tactics.
- Apply a structured methodology to design change strategies:
- Leverage bioMerieux change management methodology and tools to create and implement a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project.
- Lead the implementation of change management activities:
- Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans and integrate them into the project plan: Stakeholder management Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan.
- Support target organizational / process design and definition of roles and responsibilities (when applicable).
- Support Stakeholder management by engaging / aligning senior leaders:
- Identify and manage resistance (eg., stakeholder mapping, stakeholder management plan, etc).
- Support communication efforts:
- Enable the design, delivery and management of key communications (eg., Newsletters, intranet pages, etc).
- Support training efforts:
- Identify prerequisites, document needs and support the design and production of training programs to ensure user readiness (eg., e-learnings, user guides, etc).
- Deliver train the trainer trainings (when applicable)
- Support handover to run efforts:
- Anticipate the definition of target governance and roles and responsibilities.
- Lead change management cross functional activities such as:
- Contribute to increasing the maturity of the project teams on change management by coaching the project management team and fostering best practices.
- Coordinate change management efforts with other interdependent projects.
- Define and measure adoption success metrics and monitor change management activities progress to ensure user readiness (eg: pulse check, tool adoption, etc).
Education, Skills, & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of experience in change management or business transformation in an international business environment.
- High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience in change management or business transformation in an international business environment also accepted
- Degree in Business, Information Systems, or Psychology is preferred but not required
- Change Management certification or similar certifications in Business Transformation preferred.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, enabling you to establish and maintain solid customer / stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent facilitation skills, especially regarding collective intelligence
- Able to work on several projects at the same time
- Knowledge and experience of change management principles, methodologies and tools (eg PROSCI)
- Knowledge and experience with the project life cycle, as well as project management methodologies and tools.
- Able to propose a strategy and implement it independently
