Role

We foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and career growth. Furlani Foods is seeking a 3rd Shift, South Plant Security Officer to ensure plant and employee safety, by patrolling and validating the interior and exteriors of the plant are safe and secured.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

* Take accurate shift notes of unusual occurrences and observation of patrols

* Assist in accident investigations and other safety related tasks

* Monitor and maintain access card system; issue, deactivate and replace access cards

* Monitor and maintain locker rooms, lockers, and padlocks

* Assist Safety Trainer in Safety Training for new hires and continuous safety training for existing employees

Qualifications

* Ability to operate a motor vehicle and a clean driving record

* At least two years of experience as a security officer or relevant position in an industrial setting.

* Ability to work indoor and outdoors, with various weather conditions

* Surveillance skills and attention to detail

* Knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
