Title: Intern

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview

The intern will perform semi-routine general office tasks to support the department, providing clerical assistance as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience:

* High school diploma or GED required.

* Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Program Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities:

* Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills applicable to department requirements.

* Ability to interact professionally with company personnel.

* Strong time management and critical thinking skills.

* Must be at least 18 years of age.

* Basic typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Perform clerical tasks such as copying, filing, faxing, and mailing.

* Answer and direct telephone calls.

* Maintain routine records and manage databases.

* Input and organize information, data, and records.

* Compose general correspondence.

* Assist in preparing reports and research materials.

* Shadow multiple office positions and receive training in various administrative tasks.

* Support the department and supervisory staff with general clerical duties.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental policies, and quality system principles.

* Complete other duties as assigned by management.

* Work overtime as needed.

* Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
