The Job at a Glance

The Senior Product Data Analyst will be responsible for the collection, creation and maintenance of an industry leading product data repository that helps drive a self-service customer experience on our websites and mobile apps. You will use tools and technologies to efficiently gather, cleanse and load product content including manuals, models and BoM data, categorization of products and equipment, and other relevant product information. The data you collect will help drive on-site searchability and improve our SEO positioning.

A Typical Day

  • Collects and updates manufacturer's models and associated model information such as manuals, images, and BoM data.
  • Assist in the RFP process including product and equipment matching to win new customer business.
  • Report on KPIs and help drive our HVAC data strategy within our business segments.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturer Partnerships team to ensure data and branding reflect manufacturer and supplier's vision.
  • Utilize Python and web scraping packages to perform manufacturer data aggregation, and competitive, market and generic part analysis.
  • Strategically categorize products and equipment into an evolving taxonomy & schema, optimizing for searchability and customer navigation.
  • Optimizes short and long product descriptions to improve on-site searchability and SEO relevance
  • Analyze complex datasets daily to refine product attributes, descriptions, images, replacement/obsolescence and specifications, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize advanced eCommerce tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mirakl, Hybris, Pimberly, and SQL to enhance the digital customer journey.
  • Document "how-to" guides, workflows, and processes, ensuring comprehensive and accessible resources are available for current and future team members, facilitating knowledge transfer and maintaining consistency in best practices.

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have 3+ years of experience in product master data management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale datasets in a digital commerce environment
  • You have strong knowledge of Excel and Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting (3+ years minimum)
  • You have basic understanding of SQL for querying and managing large datasets (1-2 years minimum).
  • You are experienced with Ecommerce platform's back office and PIM systems
  • You possess great analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies
  • You have experience in documenting processes, tools, and workflows, and sharing best practices across teams
  • You are collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills willing and to present your work to business segments. Fluent in English (both written and verbal).

The salary range for this role is $60,158.08- 80,492.22 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
