The Maintenance Foreman will assist with facility maintenance, maintain and repair water, wastewater lines, and act in a lead capacity to crewmembers. Essential Functions Statement(s) * Operate backhoe, mini excavator, haul equipment with trailer * Responsible for water line and sewer repairs, new line installation, wet taps and sewer taps, fire hydrant repair, and valve repair. * Assist with meter change out; pulls meters and installs new meters. * Job requires irregular hours and being on-call 24 hours a day. Planning and Scheduling jobs. Inventory ordering, organizing and counting. *Acquires permits for jobs and landscaping. What You'll Bring Education: Requires knowledge normally acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED plus advanced skills and technical knowledge of water and wastewater operations and maintenance attained by specialized courses and on-the-job training. Experience: Three to five years of directly related experience in water and wastewater system maintenance and repair, including experience operating heavy equipment.
