Regional Maintenance Office Supervisor

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Regional Maintenance Office Supervisor FULL-TIME Opportunity in Granbury, TX

  • Starting Salary: $65,000 annually

The Regional Maintenance Office Supervisor is responsible for all maintenance activities related to their assigned Part 135 Regional Maintenance Office (RMO). They will ensure that individuals within the RMO operate in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS, Inc. A.A.I.P., Policies and Procedures and G.O.M. The RMO Supervisor will be responsible for planning and directing inspections and work performed in the RMO, in consultation with RMOD (Regional Maintenance Office Director) and any effected RDMO (Regional Director of Maintenance Operations). The RMO Supervisor will be on an on-call status while off duty.


Responsibilities

  • Ensures that staff on duty (including visiting AMTs) have proper qualifications and guidance to perform all assignments in a safe manner
  • Ensures all manuals and technical data being used are the most current
  • Manages the acquisition of all necessary parts and supplies in coordination with the part supply department to keep scheduled and unscheduled projects on track
  • Assists RMOD in planning, directing and standardization of RMO, inventory within the facility and general maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Air Evac EMS, Inc. Policies and Procedures
  • Maintains the assigned RMO facility in a state that will successfully pass a regular Safety System Audit
  • Controls normal staff work hours, PTO or other absences and also discuss any overtime or manpower needs for projects with the RMOD or affected RDOM for aircraft from their region. Maintains the SharePoint schedule for the assigned RMO AMTs using this information
  • Ensuring assigned RMO vehicles are properly maintained
  • Reviews and approves assigned RMO Area Mechanic timesheets
  • Reviews and approves assigned RMO Area Mechanic credit card reports and personal expense reports
  • Verifies tooling stored and used at the RMO is currently calibrated and tracking in Ramco correctly
  • Perform Quality checks on aircraft during induction and final reviews prior to return to service
  • Places safety first in all aspects of their daily job functions
  • Identifies areas of opportunities regarding hazards and addresses them accordingly
  • Promotes a safe workplace atmosphere and is encouraged to report all safety concerns without fear and retribution in accordance with the Safety Management System
  • Maintains the principals of A Just Culture of Safety to collectively accomplish the expectations and goals of the organization
  • Complies with all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Participates in and complies with the applicable elements of the Safety Management System.
  • The RMO Supervisor may delegate duties as necessary but will maintain primary responsibility for the RMO facility.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Five years' experience in helicopter maintenance
  • Must have management/supervisory experience
  • High School or Training Equivalent
  • Valid and current A&P license
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Exhibits enthusiasm, professionalism, strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Present him/herself in a neat and professional manner while carrying out their duties with the Company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; active listening skills
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision as well as in a team environment.
  • Adaptable to change; results oriented
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Well-organized, analytical, self-directed, and self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Ramco preferred
  • IA preferred. If not IA Certified, an IA certification is required to be obtained within 1 year of starting the position.
