Treasury Management Relationship Manager II
Position Summary:
As a Treasury Management Officer in Commercial Banking, you will generate new treasury management business and maintain relationships with clients.You will leverage your deep treasury product knowledge to develop and execute a localized market and product strategywhiledeveloping partnerships with our Commercial Bankers, Treasury Services, Product Leadership and Retail Banking. First Mid Bank and Trust's clients cover a wide variety of industries including Professional Service Firms, Manufacturing, Retailers, Distributors, Agriculture, Healthcare, Hospitality, Municipalities and Non-Profits. Responsible for providing a high quality of customer service along with increasing sales/solution activities to potential and existing business customers. Must have a deep knowledge of treasury management concepts and services and experience dealing with commercial customers in lending and/or cash and treasury management. Must have a deep knowledge of commercial accounts and the related Treasury Management services.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Grow revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new treasury management business while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarking, opportunity quantification and solution positioning.
  • Collaborate with bankers and clients at senior and strategic levels to proactively provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client driven framework.
  • Lead business client reviews aligned to the client needs and bank solutions.
  • Deliver thoughtful Treasury Management leadership in your market, to the bank's clients, and prospects. This includes detailed explanations of various accounts and the many solutions offered by Treasury Management.
  • Manage a non-credit risk portfolio. Monitor and enhance the profitability of all assigned relationships.
  • Lead the coordinated response to RFP offerings in your market.
  • Cross-sell other bank products including lending, insurance and trust and wealth management.
  • Represents the Bank and provide leadership in key community activities and committees.
  • Participates in professional associations, attends conventions, conferences and seminars.
  • Performs related duties as assigned, which may include acting in a sales management capacity (either producing or non-producing) coaching or managing other relationship managers and sales staff.



Qualifications
Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of Treasury Management sales experience or 5 years+ of banking experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Management products, credit and risk process and pricing philosophy
  • CTP designation strongly preferred



Skills:


  • Thorough knowledge of bank products and services, bank credit and liability management, strong knowledge of business finance concepts, ability to read and understand company financial statements; possess strong mathematical skills and superior knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to analyze bank and account analysis statements and prepare written proposals.
  • Thorough knowledge of other Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word; ability to leverage software to create presentations and solutions for internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Adequate knowledge of both internal policies and procedures and the respective state and federal laws and regulations governing departmental functions to ensure performance of individual job duties within the proper control environment.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to interact with customers & potential customers in a professional manner.
  • Travel required.




Pay Range: $84,700 - $106,000 per hour
