Job Summary
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and controlling large-scale programs with multiple concurrent task orders to meet objectives, scope, budget, and schedule. You will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery, while adhering to quality standards and contract requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, resource management, risk mitigation, communication, and change management, specifically in the context of large-scale programs with multiple concurrent task orders. DoD experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leads projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals who have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems.
- Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
- Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Demonstrates written and oral communication skills.
- Establishes and alters (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
Education and Experience
- Must hold a Project or Program Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project or Program Management certification)
- Must have 5 years of experience in program management.
- Must have 10 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields; have experience with the Information Technology Acquisition process and its milestones; and have experience in analyzing a variety of source documentation and supporting the creation of acquisition documentation.
- Acquisition Documentation refers specifically to documents created in compliance with the guidelines and requirements outlined in the following Department of Defense Instructions
- (DODI) publications.

- DODI 5000.74 - Defense Acquisition of Services
- Required to have a Bachelor's degree.
Required Skills
- DLA experience is required.
- Strong understanding of project management principles (PMBOK), practices, and methodologies, specifically in the context of managing large-scale programs with multiple concurrent task orders.
- Experience with enterprise IT, including managing complex IT systems, implementing software applications, and managing data and analytics platforms.
- DoD experience is highly preferred, specifically in the context of managing large-scale programs with multiple concurrent task orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
Desired Skills
- Possess one of the following certifications: CCNA Security+, CYSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ ce, SSCP
- Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
