The Institutional Marketing team at New York Life Investments plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of NYLI's global business by developing and executing integrated marketing programs that create value and drive demand among institutional and global audiences. This position will report to the Head of Global Institutional Marketing and collaborate closely with investment boutiques, international business partners, and global institutional sales teams in the Americas, Europe, and Japan. The team focuses on delivering strategic marketing initiatives that support sales efforts and foster long-term growth across key markets.

Role Overview
New York Life Investments is seeking a highly motivated Senior Marketing Associate to join our Institutional Marketing team. This individual will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing programs that drive demand and enhance relationships with institutional clients globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in private markets and a strong familiarity across Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Assets and will leverage that expertise to create impactful content, support sales teams, and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives across web, email, social media, and industry events.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across NYLI's affiliate model, working closely with investment teams, sales, and marketing partners to position our capabilities effectively in the institutional market.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the development of private markets thought leadership, working closely with investment, sales teams and Investor Relations to highlight key strategies.
  • Help execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with institutional business priorities and client needs.
  • Assist with the creation of compelling private markets materials that equip sales teams with tools and resources tailored to institutional investors.
  • Collaborate with boutiques and sales teams to refine messaging and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage institutional client events and experiences (both in-person and virtual), partnering with the Institutional Marketing and Events teams to drive engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards by managing marketing material reviews and approvals.
  • Analyze campaign performance to assess effectiveness, generate insights, and refine future strategies.
  • Conduct competitive research to keep NYLI's institutional marketing approach innovative and differentiated.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiencies and team collaboration.
  • Implement brand design and key messaging with accuracy and impact.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong understanding of private markets, institutional investors, and financial services.
  • 2-5 years of marketing communications experience in financial services, with a preference for institutional asset management or private markets marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex investment topics into compelling client messaging.
  • Experience collaborating across functional teams and business units.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$90,000-$115,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
