Zayo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Product Owner & Agile Coach to join the Zayo team in the dynamic and fast-paced communications industry.The Senior Technical Product Owner & Agile Coach will play a key role in configuring and optimizing our SAFe tooling platforms to support our SAFe teams and enhance overall efficiency while ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. The Senior Technical Product Owner & Agile Coach will also be responsible to recommend, implement, and manage our platform tools that support SAFe. You will join our Business Operations team as a key leader for one of our enterprise platforms and will collaborate with your colleagues to ensure that our SAFe related platforms are well managed and integrated into our broader application landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizational Agile Coach

    • Mentor and coach Value Stream teams in SAFe execution.

    • Facilitate Agile Transformation: Guide organization and teams in adopting and improving Agile methodologies, helping them deliver a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and iterative delivery.

    • Coach Team Performance: Provide direct coaching to cross-functional teams, helping them optimize workflows, resolve impediments, enhance team dynamics and improve overall productivity through SAFe practices.

    • Develop Scaled Agile Capabilities: Design and deliver training programs, mentoring and workshops to build Agile skills across the organization, ensuring teams understand and effectively implement SAFe principles, techniques, and best practices.

  • Stakeholder Management

    • Partners with business stakeholders to analyze, define and document business requirements & process models for new requirements.

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.

  • Vendor Management

    • Assist Agile Product owner with backlog management, prioritization & manage deliverables working with outsourced vendor/partners.

    • Drive technical and solution designs using best practices whilst ensuring quality deliverables.

  • Tool Configuration:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective platform configurations.

    • Configure and customize platform modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and organizational needs.

    • Implement and maintain business processes, custom fields, calculated fields, and security settings within platforms.

  • Integration Management:

    • Design and manage integrations between SAFe platforms and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, collaborating with technical teams as needed.

  • Reporting and Analytics:

    • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to meet business reporting needs.

    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics.

  • System Optimization:

    • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and enhance the functionality of the platforms.

    • Stay current with platform updates and releases, assessing their impact on current configurations and recommending adjustments as necessary.

    • Stay current on competitive options and use information to inform negotiations and road mapping for the tooling family.

  • User Training and Support:

    • Collaborate on the delivery of training and support to platform users on functionality and best practices.

    • Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution related to platform configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field plus five (5) years of related experience HRIS solutions; OR eleven (11) years of direct related experience required with High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years experience in managing enterprise technology platforms (e.g. ERP systems) with minimum of seven (7) years experience with SAFe tooling.

  • Broad knowledge of the SAFe framework and transforming organizations into SAFe models.

  • Relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Proficiency in designing solutions in SAFe delivery platforms.

  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to influence other decision makers.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in presenting technical concepts to various audiences.

  • Experience with architecture modeling and diagramming tools.

Estimated Base Salary Range: $95,800 - $130,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
