Overview VTG is seeking a senior project manager to support an exciting customer mission. The successful candidate will work on-site supporting customers with project management and process improvement and other related responsibilities.
What will you do?
Job Description and Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) providing project management support to senior customers. Key responsibilities include: * Engage across organizational and management levels to provide recommendations for business process improvements, support the transition and integration of improvements. * Monitor and track programs to ensure they meet technical and operational goals. * Evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies, and propose innovative solutions to challenging problems. * Create, collect, and analyze relevant business metrics to identify the effectiveness of business, functional, and technical processes for new and existing projects, identifying risks and recommending possible solutions. * Support engagement efforts including meetings and working groups to advance Sponsor needs and objectives by preparing documentation, responses to actions, etc. * Facilitate internal meetings, external meetings, and other relevant forums to include scheduling, agenda creation, and documentation of all related meeting minutes and actions.
Do you have what it takes?
Requirements * TS/SCI with Poly. * 12+ years of related experience supporting the customer agency. * Demonstrated experience with business process improvement, strategic planning, and communications with executive / senior leadership. * Demonstrated experience developing briefing materials and talking points for executive / senior leadership to meet their program objectives. * Demonstrated experience working within a team develop thorough and professional responses to internal and external taskings and requirements. * Demonstrated experience evaluating, proposing, and implementing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in achieving customer objectives. * Demonstrated experience supporting the planning and delivery of offsites, all-hands, and strategic engagements. * Demonstrated experience developing and refining standard operating procedures. * Strong organizational, relationship building, and interpersonal skills. * Strong communication skills.
