CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Provide a administrative professional and scribe to work under Westlake's direction to scribe PHA sessions and assist in administering the PHA program at Westlake Geismar site, to support the following objectives:

Prepare, schedule, scribe, and document the PHA Revalidations scheduled for each unit.

Prepare, schedule, scribe, and document MOC HAZOP and LOPA studies as requirePrepare, schedule, scribe, and document Management Review Meetings for PHA.

Manage paper and electronic files for the Geismar site related to PHA, including selected Process Safety Information.

Assist PSM Specialist in tracking PHA Action Items.

Assist PSM Manager and PSM Specialist with audits, training, and other tasks as directed.

Become increasingly proficient with PHA (including PHAWorks, Tracker, and PHA Pro) software, MOC system software, and other databases used by Westlake.

Specific duties of the Scribe that apply to the above scope include:

Efficiently and accurately record PHA sessions including HAZOP, Revalidation and LOPA studies. Proficiency in understanding and recording technical discussions using petrochemical plant terminology is required.

Assist Westlake personnel with any internal or external audits of the PHA element at Geismar.

For each PHA:

Verify completeness of Process Safety Information, Node drawings, Charter and databases in coordination with the Facilitator and Westlake personnel, prior to the first session.

Maintain selected Process Safety Informaiton, and ensure Teams have access to it for the study.

Scribe the PHA review in accordance with Westlake policies and procedures, using PHAWorks or PHA Pro software at the Westlake Geismar site.

Prepare for and Scribe Management Review meetings at the Geismar site after completion of each study. Includes generation of draft Recommendations for review by Management prior to the formal review.

Scribe LOPA studies as needed at the Geismar site.

Prepare the final report for each study, in accordance with the Geismar site format. Ensure consist quality of produced documentation.

Assist with recommendation resolution as requested by Westlake personnel.
