DDA QUALITY REVIEWER 1 Department of Disability and Aging Quality Monitoring Jackson, TN Salary: $4,017.00 Monthly Closing Date: 03/04/2025

This position is designed as Hybrid (In office and Remote).

The Department of Disability and Aging supports people to live the lives they envision for themselves by ensuring people can exercise rights, engage with the community and experience optimal health. At DDA, we are responsible for administration and oversight of services and supports for more than 1.5 million older adults and Tennesseans with disabilities.

How you make a difference in this role:

Quality Monitoring Reviewers ensure providers are implementing effective processes, so all supports provided to people are in accordance with DDA guidelines.

Job Overview:

Quality Monitoring:

This Department completes Quality Monitoring reviews for providers.

The Department conducts an entrance with provider, complete report timely, complete exit with provider and send provider final report.

Quality Monitoring Department review providers quality of services for people they support, to ensure that the provider has effective processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete review of provider processes
  • Complete observations of people supported by provider
  • Complete Quality Monitoring reports timely to ensure provider processes are effective
  • Attend provider entrance, attend conciliation's, attend provider exit meeting
  • Ensure Quality Monitoring report is written accurately according to the indicator guidelines
  • Effective writing, communication and organization skills.
  • Quality Reviewer must be able to work in team settings and meet assigned deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: psychology, social science, human science, or behavior science.
  • Substitution of Experience for Education: Professional experience working directly with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or the aging population for a minimum of four years may be substituted for the requirement of a bachelor's degree
