You will provide accurate and reliable government affairs data, unlocking compelling insights and contextualizing the data with research and advanced analysis via proprietary and industry standard tools. As a member of the Data Analyst team, you will work closely with data scientists and data engineers to improve our government affairs data tooling and platform. You will partner closely with our product, design, engineering, sales and marketing teams to help customers grow their government affairs businesses. You are curious and detail-oriented, have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enjoy influencing stakeholders with high quality data and insights, and have the ability to build strong partnerships to drive impact across the organization.

What you will do:

  • Analyze and synthesize data requirements for backend data infrastructure.
  • Support Product and Engineering across all data transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with Global Data to develop advanced content collection/publication processes.
  • Consult and advise on data driven features and tools.
  • Create processes that ensure users get consistent, accurate results from the data they rely on.
You need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Coursework in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical work experience.
  • 2 years of professional experience in data analysis
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills to drive process improvements in capturing, storing, enriching, and using data.
  • Experience using Excel or VBA for data analysis
  • Proven ability with mark-up languages (XML, SGML and/or HTML) and XPath
