The Business Continuity Manager (BCM) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our Fixed Wireless broadband service and our partner and/or internal Fiber Broadband home internet service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain systems that support our broadband services. Supports other departments within market for new site turn-up, troubleshooting issues (customer and equipment), and achieving market/regional/T-Mobile performance metrics. Analysis of a variety of data from inside the BOC and other national and local performance of internal and external Networks, Power Grid, weather, and other points of interests. Data analysis vital to success in position.
This is a hybrid position required to be in-office at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring network performance: Continuously observing network and system performance to identify and address any irregularities or issues.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues: Quickly responding to and resolving network problems to maintain high levels of network performance and availability.
- Incident management: Handling incidents by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations and troubleshooting steps.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
- High level knowledge of telecommunications networks.
- Intermediate concepts of IP Networking and IT Networks.
- Possess an assertive attitude delivered in a professional manner.
- Strong listening skills, with the ability to recognize and record key data in the midst of competing conversations.
- Great communications skills, oral and written. Emphasis on delivery of quality written messages which are grammatically & syntactically accurate with coherent content. Ability to speak directly and expertly.
- Ability to embrace and adapt to new processes and systems quickly and efficiently as Broadband shifts needs. The ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies
- Great multitasking skills in fast paced environment, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Good understanding of Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- The ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
- Ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team. Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships who can provide information, assistance, and support. Gain others' support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions
- Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
- Incident Management experience preferred
- Fiber Internet experience preferred
- At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $87,700 - $158,300
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
