Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Java Developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Location: Marlton - NJ or (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
• Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools and is a very good Team lead, able to converse and share knowledge with peers.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies
• Possesses excellent Software Development experience.
• Good leadership skills in working closely with Business owner, Scrum master and coordinating well with the other team members.

Qualifications:

• Lead Software Engineer experience
• Thorough knowledge of Spring MVC , Java , Spring Boot , JavaScript.
• Experience in Working with AWS services like API Gateway, Lambdas, ECS, cloudwatch, IAM, EC2.
• Experience with Relational Databases, SQL, PL/SQL and ORM technologies
• Experience in using Mockito and other unit testing framework.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with terraform, SonarQube, Docker
• Experience in CI/CD using GitHub, Jenkins.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 3/28/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68K - $150K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
