The Project Manager role for the OS Health Team may be the perfect fit for you! As a part of the IDEXX Diagnostic Software Engineering organization, the OS Health Team is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing innovative cybersecurity management solutions for our customers.

As a Project Manager for the OS Health Team, you will provide leadership on technical software development or cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery and throughout the program lifecycle. This unique position provides you the opportunity to expand your global footprint at IDEXX - building relationships with departments such as Customer and Field Support, IHD/VetSoft Development, Information Technology, Marketing and more.

In this role you will...
  • Support, or lead, projects where OS Health software may be part of the process, or the solution. Creates, maintains and communicates clear and accurate project plans. Take ownership for setting and meeting task schedules and reports status

  • Produce scope recommendations and collaborate with large teams from project initiation to completion. This includes engaging with project managers, product owners, OS Health development team, change leaders, trainers and quality engineers.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify user requirements and seeks opportunities to support critical business strategies, improve business process and educate the workforce about the strategic use of technology.

  • Partner with the OS Health team on Agile ceremonies, developing solutions, and full execution.

  • Collaborate with the OS Health Development Manager to draft detailed requirements & user stories and partner with stakeholders on current and future state process mappings.

  • Elicit, analyze, document and translate business, organizational and operational requirements with a sense of curiosity. Translates concepts and technical information for customers into clear and understandable language.

  • Manage project milestones and resources. Coordinates activities and ensures effective communication within project team. Tracks project schedules, reports on progress and takes corrective action as needed.

What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Positivity, Curiosity, Adaptability and Patience

  • JIRA/Confluence experience or agile development systems knowledge.

  • Strong analytical thinking

  • Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required

  • Project Management skills required, CAPM/PMP or related certification a significant plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to present and explain information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize across multiple initiatives.

  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without authority.

  • Ability to work independently and in teams.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with all Employee levels.

  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.

  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and problem resolution preferred.

  • Business knowledge a significant plus.
