Lucix also provides RF hardware for Airborne and Ground Systems. All hardware is designed, qualified, manufactured, tested, and shipped from Lucix facilities in California, USA.

We are actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to join our Engineering team.

Overview of the Position:

This diverse role combines hands-on testing, documentation, and engineering tasks, offers an excellent opportunity to develop broad engineering skills while specializing in vibration testing. Training provided for all safety procedures and equipment operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Execute vibration testing operations:

    • Write test procedures with company template
    • Ensure vibration tests comply to customer requirements
    • Design & document basic fixtures using SolidWorks
    • Perform vibration tests to maintain production schedule
    • Document test results in a report
    • Identify any testing anomalies
    • Manage vibration lab equipment and supplies
    • Maintain and improve on vibe lab organization


  • Mechanical design support:

    • Thermal/structural/radiation analysis
    • Assist lead designers with modeling and drafting as needed




Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university or institution (recent graduates welcome)
  • Experience with CAD, preferably SOLIDWORKS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move test equipment weighing up to 40 pounds with proper training



Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Internship or academic project experience related to testing
  • Basic programming knowledge (Python, MATLAB, or similar)
  • Experience with technical writing or lab reports
