Job Responsibilities
- Quote railroad products to customers IE: crossties, switch ties and bridge materials
- Order management and follow-up
- Provide customer service, including inquiries, order tracking, and feedback
- Interface with plant locations concerning inventory, production, freight rates and logistics
- Provide support for outside sales managers
- Follow procedures established by credit, logistics and tax departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, BS or BA in Marketing preferred
- Prior experience in business sales preferred
- Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Team player
- Ability to set priorities, analyze problems, work independently, and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
