Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an Entry Level Event Marketing Assistant that desires a career in the field of Marketing for our offices in Houston, TX. Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate with the marketing manager, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy
  • Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing
  • Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
  • Assist in planning event details and aspects
  • Assist with financial reports and collecting/submitting payments on time
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues
  • Assist with setup, facilitation, and completion of marketing events
  • Track requests and projects from start to finish bringing each one to completion
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with sales team, sales managers and their partners to increase value of marketing services.
  • Provide insight to the marketing team based on sales team feedback, and work with the team to create engaging and effective marketing collateral that drives results in the field.
  • Utilize library of marketing collateral to deliver tools that benefit and increase the business growth of the sales team.
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities



What you'll need to be successful:




  • Previous experience in marketing coordination, event coordination or similar marketing role a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor of Marketing, Public Relations or similar degree preferred
  • Have a genuine love and excitement for providing ideas
  • Understanding of best practices in marketing including direct, inbound, digital and relationship.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and strong project manager.
  • Approach problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Enjoy working with a team and building relationships that foster teamwork
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
