We are currently seeking a Databricks Technical Architect and Evangelist to join our Data and AI team. This position will work remotely from your home office located within the United States. This role will require a minimum of 25% travel.

This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively. You will serve as a trusted advisor to external clients, enabling them to modernize their data ecosystems using Databricks Data Cloud platform. Additionally, you will act as an evangelist to drive adoption and educate internal teams including client partners and sales executives, and customers about Databricks capabilities.

Job Responsibilities Include:

This is a leadership-level opportunity that requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and client engagement to deliver scalable, innovative data and AI solutions. The role demands collaboration, thought leadership, and hands-on technical skills to drive Databricks adoption and optimize end-to-end data architectures for clients.

Solution Design & Implementation:

• Architect and implementscalable, secure, and high-performancedata and AIsolutions on theDatabricksplatform.
• Leaddiscovery workshopsto analyzebusiness challenges, data requirements, and current technology landscapes.
• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration withDatabricks, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Optimize Databricks workloadsforcost efficiency, performance, and reliability, includingDelta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow best practices.
• Definedata governance, security, and compliancestrategies forregulated industries and large-scale enterprises.
• Supportreal-time streaming architectures, batch data processing, andadvanced analyticsuse cases.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead andmentordata engineers, analysts, and developers inDatabricks best practices.
• Define and enforcedata engineering and AI/ML standardsusingDatabricks Workflows, MLflow, and feature stores.
• Driveautomation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)best practices forDatabricks deployments.
• Collaborate withcross-functional teams, includingcloud architects, AI specialists, and data scientists, to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Guide teams onorchestration toolssuch asAirflow, Azure Data Factory, and AWS Step Functions.

Evangelism & Enablement:

• Act as atrusted advisorandsubject matter expert (SME)for Databricks withinNTT DATA and client organizations.
• Develop and deliverhands-on workshops, webinars, and technical presentationsonDatabricks capabilities, AI integration, and industry use cases.
• Createwhite papers, reference architectures, best practice guides, and reusable assetsto showcaseDatabricks value.
• Strengthen partnerships withDatabricks account teams, product managers, and solution architects, contributing toco-marketing initiatives and joint go-to-market strategies.
• RepresentNTT DATAandDatabricksatindustry conferences, meetups, and client briefings.

Business Development & Growth Support:

• Work closely withsales and presales teamsto craftcompelling technical proposals, demos, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs)fornew and existing clients.
• Provide technical leadership duringRFP responses, solution architecture design, and client workshops.
• Identifyopportunities for expanding Databricks adoption, includingAI/ML workloads, data lakehouse architectures, and advanced analytics solutions.
• Collaborate withalliance and cloud teamsto drivejoint cloud-native Databricks solutionsonAWS, Azure, and GCP.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 yearsof experience indata architecture, data engineering, or analytics, with at least3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Proven track record ofdesigning, implementing, and optimizing large-scale data solutionsacross multiple industries.
• Experience working inconsulting, enterprise engagements, or client-facing roles, particularly withGSIs or Fortune 500 customers.
• Deep expertise inmodern data architectures, lakehouse principles, and AI-driven analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience withDatabricks core components, includingDelta Lake, Apache Spark, MLflow, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows.
• Proficiency inSQL, Python, and Scala, with experience inETL frameworks(e.g.,DBT, Fivetran, Matillion, Talend).
• Experience withcloud-native data servicesonAWS (Glue, Redshift, S3), Azure (ADF, Synapse, ADLS), and GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, GCS).
• Strong understanding ofBI/visualization tools(e.g.,Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and their integration with Databricks.
• Hands-on experience withreal-time data streaming(e.g.,Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hubs).
• Knowledge ofMLOps frameworks, feature engineering, and AI model deploymentis a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Exceptionalcommunication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complextechnical concepts to business executives.
• Strongleadership and mentorshipcapabilities, with a passion forcoaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation), and containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Ability tonavigate complex enterprise environments, managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinkerwith agrowth mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
