As the Analyst, Supply Chain Planner you will manage demand planning processes and overseeing the order-to-cash cycle for the assigned portfolio. This position ensures full visibility of future demand, sales forecasts, and opportunities (including tenders) using specific tools and meetings (e.g., Rapid Response or Central Demand Review). The analyst is responsible for ensuring that all products required by customers are available with the appropriate level of inventory to meet the business targets of marketing, sales, finance, and operations. Additionally, the role requires effective coordination between the department and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on changes in the marketplace, focusing on:

  • Brand management

  • Marketing strategies

  • Life cycle management

  • Understand market dynamics in collaboration with SNO, local supply chain, and marketing teams.

  • Manage the daily utilization of the System Forecast tool to generate statistical forecasts. Encourage the M&S team to regularly update and maintain the country forecast with detailed monthly data.

  • Central Demand Review

  • Conduct a sanity check of the forecast before transmitting it into Supply Planning tools

  • Alert Supply Planning colleagues to any significant changes

  • Review forecast performance and trends

  • Document reviews and develop escalation points for Global S&OP.

  • Communication and Product Requirement Alignment

  • Coordinate with supply chain stakeholders to align on product requirements.

  • Manage sales orders efficiently.

  • Participate actively in new product launch activities.

  • Sales Planning and Forecast Adjustment

  • Review and adjust sales forecasts per customer as needed.

  • Logistics and Distribution Management

  • Track and ensure timely delivery, transportation, and distribution with accurate shipping documentation, while optimizing costs.

  • Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the central point of contact for quality issues.

  • Develop and implement plans of action for recalls, quality investigations, traceability inquiries, repacking, and other pharmaceutical operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent education in Business Administration

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain

  • Understanding of Demand Planning and Marketing in the Pharmaceutical business or Supply Chain

  • Familiarity with Sales Forecasting Applications

  • Knowledge of import/export logistics, distribution, and customer service

  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or other) is required

  • Experience with Access and SQL is a plus

  • Experience with Power BI is a plus

  • Advanced technical knowledge and skills in Excel are required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer or desk.

  • Occasional standing and walking,

  • Ability to move within office settings and attend meetings.

  • Light lifting of office materials, documents, typically up to 15+

  • May involve domestic or international - less than 10%

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $117,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 15 paid holidays per year.
