About This Role:
Tria is seeking an Allowance Standard Manager to ensure medical personnel and equipment readiness. This role develops medical response plans, oversees readiness programs including assessments, supply, and equipment management, ensures compliance with security protocols, and creates contingency plans for diverse missions. The Manager will also drive improvements in medical support, research, and readiness, requiring a thorough understanding of Air Force medical planning systems, Medical Readiness Agency (MRA), and Pilot Unit processes to ensure effective resource allocation.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive allowance standard analysis to support modernization and deployment strategies for deployable medical assets.
  • Provide guidance on the correct mix of manpower and assemblages required for mission and deployment operations.
  • Provide analysis of materiel requirements to develop accurate funding projections, budget submissions, and transition plans.
  • Coordinate with applicable Allowance Standard Managers in the identification and selection of replacement products for obsolete or out-of-stock items to maintain readiness and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with commercial vendors and the ECMM IT Lead for off-the-shelf and developmental product demonstrations.
  • Evaluate product capabilities.
  • Assess compatibility with military medical logistics requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for procurement and integration into existing systems.
  • Attend and actively participate in technical meetings, briefings, and planning sessions to provide SME support.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of medical readiness programs and policies.
  • Collaborate with Pilot Units and other medical professionals to review, develop, modify, produce, and publish assemblage pack-out guides for Major Command (MAJCOM) assemblages.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess and enhance medical logistics capabilities, ensuring alignment with evolving military operational requirements.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of best practices in medical contingency planning to improve response efficiency and mission readiness.

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Proven field experience in Medical Contingency Planning.
  • Expertise in Medical Readiness planning and programming.
  • Experience in medical Doctrine development and Manpower Equipment Force Packaging (MEFPAK).
  • In-depth knowledge of Medical Equipment and Sustainment.
  • Experience in Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DoD National Stock Number (NSN) and Item Management systems.
  • Expertise in Medical Supply Chain and Acquisition.
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes and Allowance Standard Management System (ASMS).
  • Experience using relevant Military Medical Information Systems (MMIS).
