Report Developer - ERP Interactive Reports Apply Online The Report Developer will participate in a multi-year effort to roll out Interactive Reporting (IR), a Tyler-wide effort to enhance and improve the reporting offerings for our clients. The developer's primary role will be to replace existing/create new EERP and EAM reports in the new IR platform. Furthermore, the candidate will assist in validating and reconciling report products, as well as collaborate in cross-product reporting projects. This role will have a focus on working across departments and across divisions to ensure a successful roll-out and continued development. Additionally, there will be opportunities to assist with other Data & Insights applications that integrate directly with EERP and other Tyler and third-party sources. These solutions in turn enable public sector organizations to share data with their constituents, internal employees, and other agencies. Work with our innovative software solutions that help local government and school districts centralize data and connect their organizations. By working to develop and support our financial management solutions, you can help integrate our solutions with human resources, revenue management, tax billing, and asset management. Location Yarmouth, Maine Travel 0-5% Responsibilities Data Analysis: Analyze and understand data requirements to create reports that provide meaningful insights, support decision-making processes and meet mandated reporting requirements. Report Development: Work with subject matter experts to develop visually appealing and user-friendly reports using Interactive Reporting. Product Development: Validate Interactive Reporting Query Builder and Report Writer tools. Query Writing: Write SoQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from databases, ensuring optimized performance. Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive reporting solution, ensuring data consistency and reliability. Quality Assurance: Work with subject matter experts to conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure accuracy and reliability. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in report generation processes. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, data sources, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting. User Training: Provide training and support to internal staff on how to access and interpret reports effectively. Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA, when handling sensitive information. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to data integrity, report generation, and user access. Deployment: Assist in client deployment and implementation. Project Management: Manage multiple reporting projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring deliverables are met. Data Governance: Assist in establishing data governance processes and best practices within the organization. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and development teams, to gather requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions. Communication: Effectively communicate technical information and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or comparable work experience. Experience with writing or analyzing SQL queries. Familiarity with EERP Genero reports, SSRS, or other reports. Experience in fund accounting and/or experience using Munis Financials/HCM, or equivalent software solution a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
