Zayo is seeking a Head of Middleware Systems will lead the implementation, integration, and management of middleware platforms such as ServiceNow and API management solutions. The Head of Middleware Systems is critical for enabling seamless connectivity and automation across enterprise systems. Reporting to the VP, this leader will define strategies for scalable middleware solutions and drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

Middleware Leadership:

  • Oversee design and implementation of ServiceNow for IT service management (ITSM) and workflow automation.

  • Manage API platforms like Apigee or MuleSoft for enterprise integration.

Integration and Automation:

  • Ensure seamless connectivity between front-office, back-office, and infrastructure systems.

  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workflows.

Scalability and Resilience:

  • Develop middleware strategies for scalability, reliability, and rapid deployment.

  • Optimize performance of middleware platforms in large-scale environments.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with application teams to enable smooth integration across business platforms.

  • Align middleware solutions with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement robust security measures to protect middleware operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Team Development:

  • Build and lead a team of middleware engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in middleware platforms, with minimum of five (5) years managing ServiceNow and API solutions.

  • Expertise in API design, integration, and management tools such as Apigee or MuleSoft.

  • Experience with workflow automation and microservices architecture.

  • Strong technical leadership and collaboration skills.

Estimated Base Salary Range: $190,000 - $220,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
