Job Scope

US Federal Government Directors have an assigned list of Federal Government Accounts of which they will focus on executing the strategy of Diasorin in getting new customers and growing the hospital framework. They as well are responsible for growing the existing covered Federal Government segments of the GSA/FSS, VA (VISNs) and DOD current customer in meeting the growth objectives. They work with Sr. Director US FED GOVERMENT and local Hospital sales teams to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential and coordinate a comprehensive sales strategy encompassing the entire spectrum of Federal Government System decisionmakers. Develop executive-level relationships and negotiate contracts with assigned Federal Government accounts.

*Looking for candidate to ideally live in or near Minneapolis, Chicagoland, California or Texas*

Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute executive level strategy and grow/maintain executive level relationships within assigned Federal Government accounts.
  • Collaborate with the local sales teams to implement a customized strategic account plan with detailed and timely top-down and bottom-up activities to accelerate. results.
  • Persuasively articulate the clinical and economic value of the DiaSorin portfolio and vision at the executive levels within the Federal Government accounts.
  • Negotiate instrument and reagent agreements (including pricing, terms and conditions) with DiaSorin' s largest customers.
  • Lead the cross-functional Federal Government teams (Immunoassay and Molecular) and activities that support annual strategies
  • Execute customer experiences and events designed to grow/stabilize, operationalize, or drive market development nationally
  • Organize periodic customer business reviews in coordination with the local sales and support teams.
  • Cultivate peer to peer communication between the executive level supporters of DiaSorin and their colleagues within prospect Health Systems.
  • Participate in regional meetings for training purposes, product information updates, and sharing field intelligence.
  • Assist with support and development of the sales team by providing guidance and assistance as needed.


Education, Experience, and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare related field required
  • Masters' in Business, healthcare or MPH preferred
  • 5+ years, successful experience in healthcare, biotech, or medical diagnostic sales and/or sales management.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
  • Ability to lead without authority and familiarity with the Federal Government segments of the GSA/FSS, VA (VISNs) and DOD landscape.
  • Superior communication skills and demonstrated aptitude in accessing and influencing executive level decision makers. Strong knowledge of the dynamics of Federal Government healthcare delivery (GSA/FSS, VA (VISNs) and DOD, etc.).
  • Strategic selling and complex selling skills experience/training.
  • Veterans preferred but not required
  • Must be located nearer a major US Airport
  • Travel up to 80%

$130,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to salary, Diasorin offers benefits.
