SCHEDULE: DAY SHIFT - START TIME IS 6:00 AM. THERE IS AN ALERTATING SCHEDULE FOR THE SHIFT END TIMES. 2:30 PM WILL BE FOR ONE WEEK, WHICH WILL INCLUDE A MANDATORY 8-HOUR SHIFT ON SATURDAY. THE FOLLOWING WEEK WILL HAVE AN END TIME OF 4:30 PM WITH NO SATURDAY SHIFT. TOP REQUIRED SKILLS: - MUST HAVE FORKLIFT, MANLIFT, AND REACH TRUCK EXPERIENCE. - MUST HAVE GENERAL WAREHOUSER KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT. - MUST HAVE PROFICIENT BASIC MATH SKILLS WITH ABILITY TO PERFORM COUNTS. - MUST HAVE PROFICIENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS INCLUDING READING, WRITING, AND SPEAKING EFFECIENTLY. - MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPOSURE TO CYCLE COUNTING. - MUST BE RELIABLE AND DEPENDABLE. - MUST BE PUNCTUAL WITH MINIMAL ATTENDANCE ISSUES. ABLE TO REPORT TO WORK ON TIME EVERY DAY. MANAGER WOULD LIKE TO INTERVIEW AND HIRE ASAP. ALL INTERVIEWS WILL BE COMPLETED IN-PERSON. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in Shipping or Receiving when needed. - Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped. - Move items to appropriate areas. - Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database. - Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts. - Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required. - Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner. - Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor. - Perform other work related tasks as assigned. - Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: - Strong Knowledge of Oracle. - Ability to work with heavy equipment. - Capability to learn on the job and apply. - Ensures availability of material on assembly floor for all capital builds. - Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: - Reads and writes in English. - Two-years of previous warehouse experience. - High school diploma or GED - Uses office copier to scan and copy documentation. - May use other business systems (ERP/MRP). - Uses company software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. - Writes, sends, and receives emails from internal NOV employees and external Customers JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Limited (less than 5%) travel. - Must be able to work a minimum of 40-hours. - Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse. - Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor. - Must be flexible to work overtime, when needed. - Exposed to occasional hot and / or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither airconditioned nor heated. BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: - Attention to detail. - Wears proper PPE while in the warehouse. - Communicates well with other employees. - Works well alone and in team environments. - Able to read and understand all JHA?s in English. - Adheres to facilities safety policies and attends all monthly safety training - Attends all Human Resource directed training via classroom, iComply, or HUB Learning CBT TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: - Able to operate an MSCA (Oracle) Gun - Operates both JIB and Overhead cranes - Must be able to safely lift up to 45 pounds - Uses office copier to scan and copy documentation - Wears a Fall Protection Harness when performing work at heights - Uses company software to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook - Writes, sends, and receives Emails to internal Customers/NOV/Employees - Operates Class II & IV Forklifts (Hyster 50-170 & Order Picker/Manlift/Reach truck) |
