Supervises all operations of Maintenance group to ensure continual operation of equipment and facility. Ensures that all maintenance and repairs meet internal customer requirements of quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities:



  1. Supervises the team to ensure high level of productivity and quality. Ensures that staff works as a team. Leads by example, communicates information and provides training on new procedures. Determines performance expectations, evaluates performance and provides coaching and training opportunities. Handles employee issues in a timely way.




  1. Prioritizes work. Maintains appropriate staffing level. Maintains workflow and balance, tracks and monitors work. Ensures that productivity and quality standards and measures are met. Communicates information to appropriate departments and individuals. Provides reports.




  1. Orders parts and keeps parts inventory stocked for machine repair.




  1. Acts as a troubleshooter for maintenance problems. Resolves problems or refers problems to appropriate individual.




  1. Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to supervisor.




  1. Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes. Ensures that group maintains 5 S program.




  1. Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.




  1. Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in training/learning other positions. Accomplishes related results as needed.




  1. All other tasks assigned by leader.



Requirement/Qualifications:



  • Education: Associates Degree in Industrial Technology or Business Administration, or relevant experience
  • Experience: 8+ years manufacturing experience.



Physical Requirements:



  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Frequent walking and standing
  • Occasional sitting
