The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $84,757.00 to $137,443.20. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.



Responsibilities

Under limited Supervision, the Senior Auditor performs varied and complex financial, operational and compliance audits for Eagle Bancorp, Inc. and subsidiaries. Actively promotes a strong internal control environment in assurance and consultative services provided in conjunction with and formally documented in the Internal Audit Manual (derived from the Standards established by the Institute of Internal Auditors {IIA}).



Qualifications

Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in accounting, business management, finance or related field
  • Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) may count towards up to two years of experience
  • 4 years audit experience will be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree
  • 4 years internal audit or public accounting experience in public accounting, audit, risk management or regulatory compliance in a professional firm or business
  • 8 years of experience in bank commercial credit risk management or analysis, including experience with regulatory requirements and expectation for lending and credit risk management at a financial institution
  • Formal Credit Training
  • Experience or understanding of economic, lending and credit market conditions in the Washington DC Metropolitan market

Preferences:

  • Broad exposure to banking industry
  • ACAMS or CRCM
  • CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CBA (Certified Bank Examiner)
  • Ability to execute andlead certain audits at times with minimal supervision required
  • Ability to meet workpaper quality and timely delivery standards
  • Address Auditor-In-Charge, review comments timely and appropriately Perform timely review of workpapers when leading audit
  • Develop audit issues and draft reports Provide meaningful recommendations based on evaluated risks and follow-up on the resolution of issues
  • Ability to interact with management to communicate audit scope, objectives, and findings Communicates orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
  • Knowledge of audit methodologies and developing key internal audit deliverables including process flows and narratives, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries
  • Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Word and Excel
