Overview

Come join Esri and help pioneer the field of mapping and spatial analysis through design. We are looking for a talented Senior Product Designer specializing in user interface design for Windows desktop applications. In this role, you will enhance the UI framework of ArcGIS Pro, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience. You will stay current with the latest Windows desktop design patterns, contribute to our evolving design system, and collaborate with various teams to maintain UI/UX consistency and accessibility.

Responsibilities



  • Contribute to maintaining our Figma environment, work closely with Calcite Brand Team lead, designers, and the Calcite team to enhance UI kits, foundations, tokens, and individual component Figma files
  • Provide detailed design specifications for components that include component anatomy, states, types, color, layout, accessibility, and more
  • Partner with researchers and the UX team to validate usability of components
  • Partner with front-end developers to achieve architectural, visual, and interactive consistency between components in Figma and in the development environment
  • Present and sell your design ideas to the broader team
  • Participate in design conferences, constantly learning about the latest best practices while applying those to your work


Requirements



  • One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
  • Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with the following: UI design, Figma, Adobe, GitHub, Stencil, and JavaScript.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Product Design, or a related field of study

$62,500 $90,000 USD
