About the role

SUMMARY:

The Social Media and Digital Specialist is responsible for driving Pontoon's online presence including social and digital content development, social media management, employee advocacy and lead generation efforts. This role will manage the day-to-day social media activities, supporting the achievement of defined marketing targets and objectives through inbound and outbound lead generation and qualification activities. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to help fuel Pontoon's continued growth through strategic priorities. This role reports to Digital Marketing Manager.

What you'll be doing
  • Activate essential demand and lead generation tactics across the marketing funnel, including content, organic social, paid social, podcasts, webinars, events, etc.
  • Use marketing automation platform (Account Engagement) to build, track and optimize lead generation and lead nurturing programs.
  • Design, execute and manage social marketing campaigns to engage and influence target markets and current clients.
  • Be the end-to-end expert in our social media strategy and execution, including but not limited to audience targeting, tactical social planning, copywriting, and deployment.
  • Collaborates with Sales to refine our ICPs, identify strategic accounts, analyzing and aligning with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to better identify target audiences and how to attract.
  • Track, report, and analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for further improvement.
  • Manage projects and timelines and all deliverables.
  • Provides recommendations and/or assists with formulating, implementing and communicating related policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Indirectly challenges, mentors and inspires team members to achieve business results.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field and/or a minimum of 3 years of related social media and digital experience
  • Experience with SEO and PPC tools (Semrush, Google Ads)
  • Video production support for internal and external activities
  • Marketing automation (Pardot, Hubspot, etc.) and Salesforce experience
  • Demonstrated success running and reporting on digital and social media marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize tools, concepts, principles, and practices of researching and data collection and analysis.
  • Understand lead generation metrics, including CTR, impressions, CPL, conversions, etc., related to digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Search Console, Google. Analytics, Google Ads, etc.), understanding of how to track goals, report KPIs and their impact on the marketing strategy

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $45,000-$70,000. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon's incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
