The rate of pay for this position is $60,000 annually. This is an on-site position. It is full-time with the hours being either Monday-Friday 12-8pm, 2-10pm or 4pm-12am as well as on-call supervisor on rotation. Your New Role: The Youth Shelter Manager supports program operations for the Alba Collaborative working with runaway youth ages 9-17- on-site and in emergency housing, for crisis intervention and stabilization, case management family mediation and reunification. The Manager will play a primary role in hiring, training, and supervising staff and coordinating program, including scheduling, youth engagement and placement, program activities, working with partner staff at Youth Progress, facilities and general operations, and will ensure that youth and families, schools and the community have access to services. They will support the Alba Collaborative Director in program development, implementation and evaluation along with the Youth and Family Services Manager and the Weekend Supervisor. They are integral in managing risk on-site and contract compliance. The Alba Collaborative operates 24/7/365 on-site in East Multnomah County, where the position is based. What this Role is: Dynamic- Provides support to staff for individualized services to youth and families, responsive to changing needs and circumstances, creative in approach. Organized- They are detail-oriented, consistent, and can manage crisis as well as long term goals, due dates. Collaborative- Works with team, youth and families, community, and providers to identify and express needs, expectations, boundaries, goals and develop agreements. Communicative- Excels at interpersonal dialogue, building rapport and relationship with ease, having hard conversations, and coordination. Skills & Attributes: * Desire to work with multicultural staff and youth in a diverse setting. * Proven ability and commitment to using Trauma-Informed Care, Positive Youth Development and Strength-Based approaches. * Ability to make decisions and guide team through day to day operations as well as crisis * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including detail-oriented coordination and documentation. * Must have access to an automobile, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance. * Must be willing to be CPR trained and certified. Experience: * Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred; lived and professional experience will be considered in place of a degree * 2 years of supervisory and/or program management experience * Prior experience providing collaborative problem solving or mediation, certificate or equivalent strongly preferred * Bilingual candidates, strongly preferred About Us...
