SUMMARY

The Operations District Manager provides daily management and supervisory oversight to the assigned area. Coordinates with the EMS Leader to ensure adequate 911 staff deployment, response metrics and the highest level of quality service. Oversees the EMT's, Paramedic Leads and Paramedic staff. Coordinates daily equipment variances, damages and loss with Support Services to ensure asset accountability. Assists the EMS Leader with operational expense management and works in close coordination with the Medical Director and hospital ED leadership. Accomplishes operational goals through excellent communications, efficient organization skills and effective project management techniques. Assumes field command in the Event of MCI or Disaster in the absence of the EMS Leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
• Three (3) or more years as Paramedic in 911 system.
• Two (2) or more years' experience as Paramedic Lead in 911 system.
• NREMT- P and/or GA Paramedic License required
• Current AHA, CPR and ACLS/BLS Certification required.
• Georgia Driver's License required and acceptable motor vehicle record.
