Job Summary The Payroll Operations Analyst will be responsible for compliance as it relates to current and new updates for federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. Responsibilities include extensive research and implementation of various payroll and tax compliance projects which affect different aspects such as time and attendance configuration, paycheck calculations, sick/paid leave laws, payroll taxes, etc. The right candidate will possess the ability to exercise sound and independent judgment in identifying risks and in finding and recommending solutions to problems or new regulations. The Payroll Operations Analyst will possess a passion for learning new things and staying current with best practices, regulations, compliance, payroll and time and attendance systems. They must be able to work well with little supervision, but also possess the ability to work well with the entire payroll team, HR leadership, internal/external legal counsel, third party vendors, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
