The Sales Training Manager will design, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and performance of the sales team. Develop training curricula aligned with commercial objectives and driving systematic learning approaches.

  • Pay rate: $95,000 to $115,000 per year.
  • This role is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan with a target incentive of 15% of your base annual salary.

Essential Job Functions:



  • Perpetually develop and implement comprehensive sales training programs to include selling skills and processes, product, business knowledge, objection handling, account planning, sales manager and new hire training.
  • Create comprehensive, engaging, and effective training programs across Commercial teams. Develop curricula, educational materials, manuals, guides, presentations, role play activities, and training calendars for new hires and ongoing skill enhancement.
  • Utilize diverse learning methodologies (e-learning, instructor-led, blended learning)
  • Align training strategies with Sales leadership. Continuously assess and update training programs to meet long term and short-term requirements.
  • Conduct field travel with sales teammates to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identifying strengths and areas of improvement.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience to influence both with and without direct authority
  • Collaborate across business, and divisions to identify subject matter experts for training content development, understand training needs, and ensure content accuracy.
  • Integrate new systems and technology into the training process, maintain training libraries and databases.
  • Stay current on market trends and industry best practices, including learning techniques, instructional design, & innovative delivery methods.
  • Manage training budget.
  • Manage performance of direct reports, ensuring the development of sales trainers.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, education, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in sales and training. Must have a good understanding of training and sales processes.
  • Strong communications, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Project management experience with effective outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
  • Proficiency in e-learning and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Proficiency in Workday and Salesforce for managing training programs preferred.


Working Conditions:



  • Home Office.
  • 50% travel
