Environmental Technician
The initial duties will be to support the re-establishment of the environmental laboratory at the Pueblo de Cochiti. Will review existing capabilities and make recommendations for new equipment and other needed improvements related to rebuilding laboratory capabilities.
Will maintain program equipment and augment or replace equipment as justified
Will also create methodologies and procedures related to the environmental sampling and testing process at the Pueblo.
General duties:
Collects environmental samples like air, water, and soil, performs laboratory analysis on those samples to identify contaminants, monitors environmental conditions, and ensures compliance with environmental regulations by documenting findings and reporting potential issues
Key duties include field sampling, data collection, laboratory analysis, report preparation, and maintaining compliance with environmental laws. | |
