What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Housing Manager is responsible for defining, implementing and overseeing the Housing Department, for the region assigned to include researching, assessing for, planning, coordinating, developing, acquiring supportive housing opportunities to meet the needs of the clients served by Telecare. He or she assists in developing rehabilitation strategies to meet current and future housing needs. The Housing Manager is responsible for the oversight of housing funds, budget and housing payment system, as well as housing staff.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | AM | Shifts: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Days: Monday - Friday

Expected starting wage range is $75,108.10 - $92,709.77.Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)



  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience
  • Five (5) years professional work experience in real estate, public housing, housing related programs or a related field, 2 or more years' experience in a managerial capacity, 2 or more years' experience in human service setting administering community-based housing for special needs populations, affordable housing programs and/or housing subsidy programs
  • Experience in the acquisition of residential properties, collaboration with property owners, and the various housing funding resources
  • Must have an understanding of community mental health services and psychiatric rehabilitation concepts and the Recovery Philosophy
  • Knowledgeable of cultural and socio-economic factors that inform service provision to persons with behavioral health issues
  • Certified in the local Coordinated Entry System /Housing HMIS system within 3 months of hire
  • Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver's license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual or local requirements may apply


  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.


  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.(weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)


  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
